Projects
Recycling Project

Kamyabi Recycling plays an important role in the circular economy by building strong relationships with overseas traders and small charities in the UK that may not have the resources to manage the complex process of exporting used clothing through container shipments. Kamyabi acts as a bridge, connecting communities and creating a practical, sustainable solution that benefits everyone involved.

Our recycling initiatives focus on raising awareness about environmental responsibility among the UK public, reducing landfill waste, and giving clothing a second life. By making quality used clothing accessible at a fraction of retail prices in the UK and Europe, Kamyabi helps communities in developing countries access affordable garments while promoting sustainability.

These recycling projects also create opportunities for disadvantaged members of society, particularly individuals with low confidence or language barriers, by providing training, support, and meaningful work experience.

Kamyabi’s approach creates a true win-win situation – supporting the environment, strengthening communities, and building pathways to employment.

DAAWAT Food Project

The Daawat Food Project is Kamyabi’s initiative to create employment opportunities by utilizing women’s inherited culinary skills, which are often overlooked or undervalued. The project has grown into a reliable food supply operation serving nearly 1,000 shops, supported by efficient logistics and quality standards.

The Daawat Project now operates in three areas:

  1. Personalized food production, tailored to individual tastes and dietary needs
  2. Large-scale food production, supplying communities across multiple cities
  3. This initiative not only generates employment but also empowers women by transforming traditional skills into sustainable livelihoods.
Employment, Training, and Sustainability

Kamyabi is a registered charity organization that has successfully used council rate relief programs to create employment opportunities across multiple sectors. The organization believes strongly in sustainability through work-based activities.

Kamyabi was proud to be selected among the top 10 organizations nationwide to create jobs through the £1 billion Kickstart Program, recognizing its impact in employment generation and community development.

All Kamyabi income-generating activities also function as training platforms, helping service users gain practical experience, confidence, and transferable skills. These opportunities enable individuals to move forward into their preferred careers with ongoing support.

Through diverse initiatives – from recycling to food production – Kamyabi provides a platform for ambitious individuals to learn, grow, and succee
